I believe that Car Audio should firstly be enjoyed in the way it sounds and then by the way it looks. This is the main philosophy that I follow when designing a sound system for you.
A decent sounding system should not cost an arm and a leg and any flashy install costs more than a simple install, and adds nothing to the overall sound of the system. Flashy fibreglass installs also become scratched in the long term and become unsightly after a while. They are also impractical when it is done in the boot of the car, since you can not load goods without scratching the installed panels.
Sound Clarity is the main focus with an emphasis on Sound Quality in all my installs, but it should always make you smile, no matter what your budget or vehicle.
I can also offer fiberglass and special flashy installs at Payntwagon, but these types of installations needs to be discussed with us in detail.
Sound Quality is a term used very willingly by most sound installers, but most of the time this term is used out of proportion.
Sound Quality in terms of Car Audio is the reproduction of music in a way that replicates the musical scene set by the recording artist, and tries to reproduce the instruments, and vocals as it sounded during recording. This means we try to make the music appear on a stage on your dash, with each instrument and vocal performer placed in the correct spot on this stage. To get this right you have to remember that your ears face forward and that in most musical performances the stage is in front of you. So why do you need rear speakers? That is correct, for Sound Quality you do not need rear speakers. We can reproduce a realistic stage of music with only a set of front speakers and a single sub.
What most people want from their car audio system is Sound Clarity. This is the reproduction of the music inside the cabin or the car to place you the listener inside the music or on top of the stage between the musicians. The music is reproduced at moderate to high volumes without distortion and tonality is the most important factor in this type of install. It also does not matter where the sound originates from, or where instruments are placed on the stage. As long as you can hear all of them clearly without distortion from all seating positions.
Payntwagon Audio offers you both solutions to choose from.
Installations done by me will always be done with upgrading and future enhancements in mind. No matter how small your system starts out, I know that you will always want to grow and improve it. therfore I focus on the basics of the install to ensure safety and performance, no matter what equipment we install at a later stage.
A basic install done by Payntwagon Audio will always include:
This list of items is always included in the installation price I quote you and overall, the net effect of my approach is that the customer will end up with a system that sounds great, looks good, costs less, and is very easy to live with on a daily basis.
