DLS SQ Special

DLS is one of the top SQ brands in the world. This SQ setup is a very good starting point for any SQ competitor. The system has been tested and used by myself in SQ competitions and have won my class with it. This is a very reliable and long lasting setup that can be used for SQ competitions or everyday listening.

The total cost of the system is R10150

and includes everything you need to compete. The system includes a Headunit(CD/MP3 Player), Installation and all the equipment to run the system with Time Alignment.

Here follows a breakdown of what the system consists of.

Headunit

I selected the Sony CDX GT700D for it's Time Allignment functionality and 24 bit D/A processor.

Speakers

The DLS RW12 12" subwoofer is one of the best subwoofers on the market and it's value for money rating is very high. It works well in small enclosures of 0.85cu.ft.
The DLS C6A 6" split set is very good value for money as it includes the DLS T20 silkdome tweeters which are very smooth and detailed with a tight and controlled midbass that includes the DLS EFR Technology for increased vocals.

Amplifier

The DLS CA31 amplifier is a very good Bi-polar Transistor amplifier with 3 channels of amplification. The 2ch side is used to power the splits and the monoblock side can delevir enough power for most subwoofers. The amplifier also has a phase control to help move subbass frequancies to the front of the vehicle as it alligns the phase of the subwoofer with the bass from the splits.

Cables and Accessories

We use the DLS Reference RCA cables to increase signal quality.
All other accessories in this setup is from Targa.
